Hey people!

So who else caught the first episode of TBL? I have been excited about this since I first heard of the cast, the fabulous clothes and the big fashion names involved.  And I am so glad to say, I was not disappointed.

The show opens at a Zac Posen show (YES! A favorite ;D) at the New York Fashion Week. We see new, upcoming model Raina (Sara Paxton)  fumbling around in a gorgeous Victorian, embellished, power shouldered suit between the hoo-ha taking advice from fellow model Marissa who’s slightly bitchy but seems to know what she’s talking about.  Right on cue, in storms Sonja Stone, the once supermodel, complete with the bitchiest attitude and hottest shoes.

For some absurd reason, the finale dress she’s supposed to wear does not fit right and Zac picks Raina of all people to wear it. Sonja seems pissed, I noted. Meanwhile, Raina dons the gorgeous red, laser cut dress and struts down the runway in a somewhat cheesy “I think this is how runway models walk” sort of way, milking the moment for all that it’s worth.

Sonja, the pill-popping, coiffed-headed, kohl make-up wearing model seems to have *wait for it* a kid!

Then there’s the Iowa farmboy trying to make it big in the City.

Basically, all in all, a promising show with fabulous clothes and gorgeous people.

I can’t wait for more, can you?
